Rectifier Stud Diode D161-320 AS ENERGITM is general purpose diode. This is a power p-n junction diode designed for converting DC and AC currents up to 320A with frequency up to 500Hz in circuits with voltages up to 300V – 1600V (voltage class from 3 to 16). Diode package – SD6, mounting standard thread – М20х1.5, (on request, UNF thread 3/4"-16UNF-2A), weight – 265 g.
Diodes are supplied in stud design. Polarity of the diode is marked by a polarity symbol on the case.
Forward polarity diode – the threaded base of the diode is the Anode, the flexible power lead is the Cathode.
Reverse polarity diode – threaded base is the Cathode, the flexible power lead is the Anode.
Forward polarity is not indicated in the part numbering; Reverse polarity is indicated by an "X" in the part numbering.
This power diode can be an alternative product, replacement, analog, equivalent for other types diodes 280A, 290A, 300A, 310A, 320 amp in a stud mount package.
Air and water heat sinks are used to cool the diodes. To provide reliable thermal and electrical contact with the heatsink a tightening torque Md must be observed during assembly. For better heat dissipation of diode during assembly, heat conducting paste is used.
The diodes have a hermetic ceramic housing isolating the functional part and the semiconductor element from mechanical impacts and environment. Stud screw fit diode with a flexible power lead. Stud diodes are notable for their ability to be used on moving parts.

Heat sinks (radiators) are used for cooling of power semiconductor devices in stud design.
